Attention Heathcare Professionals

If you specialize in treating trigger points and you author articles, essays or books on the topics of Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Dysfunction or Self Care, then pressurepositive.com would like to invite you to submit your written material to our Contributing Author Program.

Heal. Teach. Empower.

Healthy communication in the relationship between health professionals and their patients almost always results in the patient/client getting to a higher level of health and wellness.  A better informed patient/client is simply more likely to comply with recommended therapy. There is no better way to build trust in this relationship than to encourage patient education. By explaining complex medical problems in understandable terms, and the benefits and value of suggested therapies and self care techniques, healthcare professionals extend a respectful invitation to their patients/clients to become equal participants in their own treatment and recovery.

Our Commitment to Education

Since 1979 The Pressure Positive Co. has been dedicated to designing high quality self care Massage Tools. In additional to our Self Care Tools, our goal is to provide our visitors with up to date information, written by qualified healthcare practitioners, that will help them use our tools more effectively and to manage their pain as well.

The Pressure Positive Contributing Authors Program

Our goals:

  • to provide our users with a specific, highly informative and useful resource for understanding trigger points
  • to inform our users on how to prevent the conditions that give rise to trigger points
  • to offer our users the option of non invasive treatments for trigger point pain

Our purpose:

  • Self care tools. We are a commercial site in that we sell our line of deep tissue manual massage tools directly to consumers. Customers seek our self care tools because they are in pain and want inexpensive, simple and effective ways to help themselves. We are aware that a high number of those users want to know more about their body and about trigger points in particular.
  • Education. We believe that by providing them with current, relevant information in language that is understandable, they will be more able to take control of the pain that so often dictates how they live their life. A patient/client well educated in self care is more likely to comply with prescribed therapy than one who is not.

We do not charge users to use this site.
